Terms of Use

Welcome to the Tchelet website. Use of the site and its services is subject to the terms below.

Last updated: July 2026

General

This site is operated by Tchelet. Using the site, registering for services and submitting details through its forms constitute agreement to these terms of use and to the privacy policy. If you do not agree to the terms, please refrain from using the site.

The service

Tchelet assists couples with the marriage registration process and accompanies them up to the chuppah, including matching an officiating rabbi and a bride guide, managing documents and providing information. The service is provided subject to our procedures and to applicable law, and is not a substitute for individual halachic or legal advice.

Registration, payment and refunds

Some services involve a registration fee, which is displayed before payment is made. Payment is made on a secure payment page, and we do not store your credit card details. For any question about a payment or a refund, please contact the office.

Photos and content you upload

When you upload a photo or other content, you confirm that you are entitled to use it, and you grant Tchelet permission to use it for the purpose of providing the service and displaying it in the system accordingly — for example to produce the marriage certificate and a greeting from Tchelet. You are responsible for the content you provide and undertake not to upload offensive, false or infringing content.

Reviews and recommendations

Reviews you leave about rabbis, guides and mikvaot are intended to help other couples. If you choose to leave a review about the rabbi or the guide who accompanied you, it will be displayed on their profile in the system alongside your name, and the couple photo you uploaded may appear beside it. Reviews must reflect a genuine and fair experience, and we may remove content that does not meet these rules.

Intellectual property

The content on the site, including its design, logo and texts, belongs to Tchelet or to those acting on its behalf, and may not be used without permission.

Limitation of liability

We make every effort to keep the information on the site accurate and up to date, but errors or changes are possible. The service is provided as-is. Tchelet shall not be liable for indirect damage arising from use of the site, to the extent permitted by law.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page. For questions, please contact us:
