Mazal tov to our couples
Happy moments from the weddings of couples who married with us.
A few words from our couples
Couples who have already walked the road to the chuppah with us.
The team made all the paperwork simple and clear, and the ceremony was exactly as we dreamed.
From the very first moment we felt we were in good hands — personal, caring support at every stage.
From registration to the chuppah, we felt someone genuinely cared.
The ceremony turned out exactly as we imagined — meaningful, moving and special.
The rabbi led a wonderful chuppah, and the bride guidance was an uplifting experience 💖
The rabbi was sensitive and patient, and the chuppah was Jewish, personal and moving ❤

Questions you may have
What is the difference between registering directly at the Rabbinate and registering through Tchelet?+
The end result is exactly the same — registering through us opens a full, official marriage file recognised by the Rabbinate. The difference is in the journey and in your experience. Just as arriving at the bank alongside a good mortgage advisor gets you a far smoother process and a different level of service, that is how it works with us. We take the exhausting bureaucracy with the Rabbinate onto ourselves and spare you the headache, so your road is as easy and comfortable as it can be.
How do you match the rabbi and the ceremony to us?+
To continue the same example — just as a professional advisor tailors the mortgage that fits your exact situation, we tailor your chuppah. Instead of compromising or being assigned a rabbi at random, we sit together, understand who you are and what matters to you, and guide you to the officiant and the approach that suit you best. Our goal is that you stand under the chuppah feeling completely natural and at ease, in a warm, respectful and moving ceremony that reflects exactly who you are.
How far in advance should we register for marriage?+
Set a date? Mazal tov! We recommend not waiting with the registration. Once you have booked the venue, you need to register with the Rabbinate. Please note that under Israeli law, a marriage file must be opened no later than 45 days before the wedding date.
Which services does the organisation provide?+
Tchelet lets you choose an officiating rabbi and a bride guide from a wide roster of rabbis and guides holding halachic ordination from the Rabbinate as well as further professional training. We accompany couples through every stage of the registration: from filling in the registration form, through a personal meeting, receiving the wedding documents (a designed ketubah, the chuppah approval, a ketubah copy for registration), and up to receiving the official marriage certificate from the Rabbinate after the wedding. Even once the ceremony is over, our door is always open.
Who can marry through Tchelet?+
Tchelet accompanies any couple recognised by the Rabbinate in Israel as eligible to marry. Our work does not replace the Rabbinate — we are a bridge that connects the governmental and bureaucratic process to the most meaningful moment of your life, warmly and respectfully.
How is the wedding rabbi chosen?+
Tchelet's representatives work with great sensitivity and professionalism to match every couple with an officiating rabbi, according to the location of the event and your own preferences. Once matched, you receive the rabbi's details and arrange an introductory meeting with him. If the match does not feel right, you are welcome to come back to us and we will match you again.
Are the organisation's services paid for?+
Registration involves a one-time payment of ₪360. It covers personal support, handling of forms and approvals, bride guidance and matching an officiating rabbi. Our roster also includes rabbis who officiate voluntarily and ask only for travel costs, as well as rabbi-cantors who charge a full fee since this is their main occupation. Tchelet subsidises some of the services.
Do you handle Jewish-status clarification?+
We will be in touch with the Rabbinate on Jewish-status clarification too, if it is needed. The rabbinical courts deal with these matters daily, and we will gladly assist you through the process.
Do you also prepare a prenuptial agreement?+
Tchelet does not provide legal services and therefore cannot assist couples who wish to draw up a prenuptial agreement.
