Our commitment
We work to make the Tchelet site accessible to the entire public, including people with disabilities, believing that everyone deserves to browse independently, equally and with dignity. We invest resources in accessibility to the best of our technological ability.
The level of accessibility on the site
The site has been made accessible in accordance with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), 5773-2013, and the Israeli standard IS 5568, which is based on the WCAG 2.0 guidelines, at accessibility level AA.
What has been made accessible
- A dedicated accessibility widget — a floating button on every page allowing you to enlarge text, turn on high contrast, highlight links, stop animations and reset the settings.
- Full keyboard navigation — every link, button and field can be reached with the Tab key, with clear focus indication.
- Skip to content — a “skip to main content” link at the start of every page for keyboard and screen-reader users.
- Alternative text (alt) for meaningful images, readable by screen readers.
- A correct heading structure and a logical reading order, supporting assistive technologies.
- Four languages — Hebrew, English, French and Spanish, with correct text direction (RTL/LTR) and adaptation to a range of screen sizes and devices.
Please note: the accessibility widget helps with personal adjustments, but accessibility is also implemented in the site's own code and does not rely on the widget alone.
Reservations and exclusions
We continue to work on improving accessibility on an ongoing basis. Certain parts of the site, in particular external or embedded content (such as third-party videos and media), may not yet be fully accessible. We are working to correct this. If you encountered a difficulty, we would be glad if you reported it to us and we will address it promptly.
Accessibility enquiries (accessibility coordinator)
Have you encountered an accessibility problem, or do you have a suggestion for improvement? We would like to hear from you. We undertake to handle accessibility enquiries as quickly as possible.
When contacting us, it helps to describe the problem, the page it appeared on and the browser and assistive technology you were using — so that we can address it quickly.
